About Me

I am a second year PhD student in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at University of Washington. I am advised by Emily Fox and a member of the MODE Lab. I am interested in statistical machine learning and artificial intelligence. I completed my undergraduate studies at University of California, Berkeley, in the EECS department.

I am currently supported by a National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellowship.

  • 12/2016: I received the award of Best Oral Presentation at the NIPS Time Series Workshop.
  • 11/2016: Our workshop paper has been accepted and selected for an oral presentation at the NIPS Time Series Workshop.
  • 11/2016: A new preprint on online nonstationary time series prediction has been posted to arXiv.
  • 9/2016: Finished summer internship at Microsoft.
  • 4/2016: I have received a National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellowship.
  • 1/2016: Our paper was accepted to ICRA 2016.
  • 9/2015: Started graduate education at University of Washington.
  • 8/2015: Finished summer internship at Google (Project Aura, previously known as Google Glass).
  • 5/2015: Graduated from UC Berkeley.
